Brasília, 9 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister Sérgio Amaral, of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, calls bilateral Brasil-Japan trade a deception. And he says the reason is a series of trade barriers imposed by Japan on Brazilian meat and fruit. Amaral admitted that the slowdown in the Japanese economy also has played a role in the problem.

Amaral made his declarations yesterday after meeting with a mission from the Federation of Commerce of Japan which is in Brazil examining investment opportunities. (AB)
