Brasília - Today president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will meet with his political coordinators at 9:30 am at the Palacio do Planalto. At 11:30, the president will launch a program for the protection of Brazil's cultural heritage (Programa Nacional do Patrimônio Imaterial).

In the afternoon, at 3:00 pm, Lula will meet mayors of state capitals who were elected in the first round of voting in this year's municipal elections which took place on Sunday. Following that, he will meet with the minister of Foreign Relations and Trade of Barbados, Billie Antoinette Miller. At 5:30 pm, Lula will meet with US Secretary of State, Colin Powell.
