Norwegian group to invest US$40 million in Rio shipyard construction

Rio - The Norwegian shipbuilder Solstad - represented by Norskan do Brasil – reports that it intends to contract the construction of an offshore support vessel, known as an AHTS (Anchor Handling Tank Supply) worth US$40 million. The construction will take place in Rio de Janeiro and should last for 20 months. It will create 500 direct jobs.
