Brazilian consumers are more optimistic

São Paulo - The Consumer Confidence Index (ICC), run by the Fundação Getúlio Vargas and the Commercial Federation of São Paulo (Fecomércio-SP), rose in July and August in the metropolitan São Paulo region.

The index goes from 0 to 200, with numbers above 100 indicating optimism and below 100 pessimism. In July the index went from 118.7 to 121.3.

In August it reached 138.9. The survey was made between July 16 and August 6.
