São Paulo, April 7, 2004 (Agência Brasil) - Production of automotive vehicles in Brazil in March attained 190,152 units, 23.6% more than in February, 2004, and 33.8% more than in March, 2003. This was the best performance in the past three years, according to information released today by the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea).
Domestic sales also increased, to 141,632 vehicles, 35.2% more than in February, 2004, and 37.9% more than in March, 2003. 51,894 units were exported, 20.1% more than in March, 2003, according to the data made available by the Anfavea in São Paulo.
