Brasília, April 6, 2004 (Agência Brasil) - The Brazilian Minister of Labor, Ricardo Berzoini, and the president of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Armand Pereira, met today in Brasília to discuss, among other items, the Brazilian government's "First Job" Program and technical cooperation between the ILO and the Ministry of Labor, with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLA), for the purpose of strengthening employment policy in Brazil.
