Rio, 3/18/2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The city of Cabo Frio, a coastal resort in the Lake Region (Região dos Lagos) in the state of Rio de Janeiro, will host a convention of foreign journalists this weekend. The purpose of the gathering is to present the area's tourist potential. Among other things, it is home to the world's largest natural reserve of Brazil wood (pau-brasil). Journalists from all over the world, members of the Rio Foreign Correspondents Association, will meet with local politicians and authorities. (AB)
