Brasilia - By the end of this week the Brazilian Supreme Court will receive a report from human resources experts and government lawyers on the controversial items in the recent Social Security reform that has become law. The court, as is usual in these cases, will receive information on "ambiguous" items in the law, such as the new salary ceiling and the methodology used to calculate pensions and retirement pay. As the Social Security reform law involves changes in the constitution, legal questions about it will certainly reach the Supreme Court in time. (AB)
