Brasília, 1/26/2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Following the tragic performance of its Olympic soccer team (players under 23), which will not go to Athens after losing to Paraguay in the South American Olympic-qualifying tournament, Brazil's main national soccer team (the one that is ranked number one in the world and has won five World Soccer Cups) will play an international friendly against Ireland at Landsdowner Road Stadium in Dublin on February 18. National team coach, Carlos Alberto Parreira, will announce his players on February 10.
Ireland is ranked 14th in the world. (AB)
