Davos (Switzerland), January 23, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Minister of Development, Luiz Fernando Furlan, affirms that the chief reason for his presence at the World Economic Forum is to attract investments that generate jobs in Brazil.
In an exclusive interview with the Agência Brasil, the Minister said that an opportunity like the one in Davos is rare, since it is seldom possible to bring together figures of such importance from the business world.
Furlan emphasizes that the meeting in Davos makes it possible to resume the discussion of matters important to international negotiations in which Brazil is a participant, among them, those taking place within the World Trade Organization (WTO). (DAS)
