Brasília, 12/24/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Between July and November of this year, government financing for harvest costs and commercialization totalled R$15.4 billion. For the sake of comparison, during the same period last year the total was R$12.1 billion.

The government's 2003 budget allocated a total of R$27.1 billion for the agricultural sector. Harvest outlays up to November accounted for 57% of the budget. (AB)
