Brasília, 12/24/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The National Treasury, Central Bank and Social Security system had a total primary surplus of R$2.316 billion in November, compared to R$4.563 billion in October.
The Treasury had a surplus of R$5.457 billion. The Central Bank had a deficit of R$26.7 million. The Social Security system had a deficit of R$3.114 billion.
For the year, the government's primary surplus has reached R$45.344 billion, the equivalent of 3.19% of GDP (compared to 2.86% during the same period in 2002). (AB)
