São Paulo, 12/17/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Finance, Antonio Palloci, says that Brazil is entering a new period with a historical opportunity to achieve long-term growth. "Essentially, our macroeconomic problems are under control," explained the minister, adding that the administration will announce long-term fiscal policy when it gets its foreign accounts under control.
