Rio, 12/5/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Shell of Brasil, the company that the American, Todd Staheli, who was murdered last Sunday, worked for has released the following note:

"Shell of Brazil reports that Michelle, the widow of Todd Staheli, died at 8:26 am on December 4. The deaths of Todd and Michelle are being investigated by the police.

Mrs. Staheli was in a coma at the Copa D'Or Hospital and did not survive her wounds.

Todd and Michelle leave four small children.

Shell of Brazil, deeply shocked by the deaths of the Staheli couple, is doing everything possible to assist surviving members of the family. The company continues to assist the police in their investigation of this tragic event." (AB)
