São Paulo, 8/4/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - After spending the weekend with his family in his apartment in São Bernando do Campo (greater metropolitan region of São Paulo) president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva returned to Brasilia last night.

Instead of travelling to Africa this week, Lula decided to remain in Brasilia and oversee a first vote in the Chamber of Deputies on the government's social security reform bill which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. (AB)
