Brasília, June 18, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The federal public domestic financial debt (in notes, bonds, etc.) rose to R$ 660.76 billion in May, according to the Federal Treasury. This represents an increase of R$ 16.35 billion, or 2.54%, in relation to April. The chief reasons were the interest for the period and the sale of titles (notes, bonds, etc.) worth R$ 3.2 billion.
