Brasília, 12/11/2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - At the last meeting of the National Athletic Commission, a group of Brazilian international champions, among them Lars Grael, an Olympic medal yachtsman (who is also the National Secretary of Sports), Bernard Razjman and Ana Moser, volleyball players, Olympic judo champion Aurelio Miguel, and basketball player Paula, called for the Lula government to keep Sports at the cabinet (minister) level. They also proposed legislation to facilitate sponsorship deals for athletes and team sports. (AB)
