Brasília – A group of Venezuelan pilots, co-pilots and engineers who were trained at Embraer as part of a purchase package of Embraer 190 passenger planes arrived back home on October 28. At the same time, Venezuela received its third Emb190 aircraft.
The Venezuelan consortium that bought the planes, Conviasa, says it made the purchase in order to modernize its fleet and improve services. The Brazilian made passenger jets will be used for regional traffic in Venezuela.
