Brasilia - The most recent weekly market survey of financial institutions by the Central Bank, the Focus report, found that for the third consecutive week the market has lowered its expectations for GDP growth. This week the market said it would be 2.97% for the year ending two weeks from now, compared to 3.09% a week ago.

Market estimates for GDP growth next year also dropped slightly from 3.48% to 3.40%.
