Industrial production expands 1.2% in February

Rio - Industrial production expanded 1.2% in Brazil from January to February of this year. Compared with the same period last year, there was a 5.4% increase. This information was released today (4) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).

The cumulative growth rate in the 12 months that ended in February was 3%, finally reversing a downward trend that began in March, 2005.
