Brasilia - This afternoon, president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will have a working meeting with the president of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe, at the Palácio Itamaraty. Ministers from both countries will also participate in the meeting. For Brazil, Foreign Minister, Celso Amorim, and the minister of Mines eand Energy, Silas Rondeau, will be present.

Under discussion at the meeting will be cooperation in the energy sector, and the use of biodiesel and ethanol. The participants will also discuss defense and conservation in the Amazon region, drug traffic, expanding bilateral trade and investments, the issue of the South American Community of Nations and transportation infrastructure projects.
