Minister of Labor: Brazilian unemployment less than in Europe

Brasília, 25 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - In an interview on a Radiobrás TV morning talk show, minister of Labor, Paulo Jobim, spoke of the new series of measures which will inject a total of R$17 billion (US$5.6 billion) into the Brazilian economy by December. According to the minister, the money will mean more jobs. Speaking of jobs, Jobim pointed out that Brazilian unemployment rates have remained below those in Europe during the last 12 months. (AB)
