Rio, 25 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Monthly Employment Survey, conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) found that the number of persons seeking work in June was down 3%, compared to May.
The IBGE survey also found that the average time spent seeking work in June was 24.4 weeks, compared to 22.2 weeks in May, and 21.1 weeks in June 2001. (AB)
