New Zealand's ambassador visits Land Bank

Brasília, 25 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - New Zealand's ambassador, Denise Almao, visited the Land Bank yesterday in the company of the secretary of Land Reform, Edson Vismona. The ambassador was informed of the way the bank operates in purchasing land for rural workers around the country.

The ambassador learned about a Land Bank project at Cabeceiras de Goiás, in the state of Goiás, where 40 families produce 1 million eggs monthly and harvest corn, beans and soybean, generating 25 direct jobs and 250 indirect jobs. (AB)
