Goal of a US$5 billion trade surplus should be reached easily

Brasília, 23 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - As Brazil nears the end of July, it already has a US$ 3.509 billion trade surplus and the third week in July was the best of the year, with a surplus of US$903 million.

The Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade reports that total exports for the year are now at US$29.147 billion, and imports at US$25.638 billion, and that the goal of a US$5 billion trade surplus should be reached easily. For the last 12 months there is now a cumulative surplus of US$6.3 billion. (AB)
