Brasília, 19 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Saying that Brazil has adopted an aggressive foreign policy stance and would like to see other Mercosur member countries do the same, minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Sergio Amaral, announced a forthcoming meeting of block Foreign Ministers to "expand as much as possible" the list of goods that receive preferential tariffs. Amaral said that at the moment talks are underway on some 30% of inter-block trade, but that Brazil is interested in quickly expanding that.

The Foreign Minister's meeting will be in Rio de Janeiro at a date which has still not been set. (AB)
