Brasília, 8 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - For the first time in Brazil, seven persons have been arrested for commiting the crime of placing false data in the Social Security (INSS) system data bank (Dataprev). The seven were caught red-handed with R$125,000 (US$43,600).
With these arrests, the crackdown on Social Security system fraud, by teams from the INSS, Federal Police and government legal officials, has captured 113 people. (AB)
