Buenos Aires, 8 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - During an interview on Friday at the Mercosur Summit, president Fernando Henrique Cardoso declared that Brazil will continue to insist on equitable negotiations for equitable agreements involving Brazil, Mercosur, the European Union and the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas, especially concerning farm produce.

"We negotiate in good faith and expect others to do the same. That means we want to negotiate all areas, including farm produce. This is not going to be easy, but we will insist on it," said Cardoso, adding that the goal is to achieve agreements which benefit everyone. (AB)
