Brasília, 5 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Yesterday the head of the Office of Institutional Security, Alberto Cardoso, met with representatives of intelligence services from over 10 countries in Europe and the Americas - including Columbia, France and the United States - for a discussion of the ramifications of "Plan Columbia". According to a note from the Brazilian Intelligence Agency, there was a consensus regarding the need for shared responsibility in the combat against drug traffic in countries where drugs are produced, received and used for transit.

The possibility of guerrillas and cocaine refineries migrating out of Columbia into neighboring countries was also discussed at the meeting. (AB)
