Brasília, 5 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazil and Cuba have set up an exchange program in sports. An agreement will be signed today by the minister of Sports and Tourism, Caio de Carvalho, and the vice president of the Cuban Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation, Osvaldo Montiller. The program is expected to be mutually beneficial as Cuba is interested in Brazilian public schools sports projects and Brazil is interested in Cuban experience in developing equipment and preparing athletes.
Brazil is presently negotiating similar treaties with Spain, Portugal and Iran. (AB)
