Rio de Janeiro, 2 (Agência Brasil – Abr) – Petrobras shares will be traded on two new New York stock exchanges, the "NYSE International 100 Index" and the "NYSE World Leaders Index." According to Petrobras, the New York Stock Exchange says that the new bourses will strengthen the strong position of the firm on the stock market as well as capital markets, with the possibility of attracting even more investors in the US. Companies on the NYSE World Leaders Index have a net value of around US$9.7 trillion, something on the order of 37% of the market value of stocks worldwide. (AB)
