Rio de Janeiro, 28 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - A survey of 160 industries in Rio de Janeiron found that 53% of them have plans to make new investments as of March 1, when electricity rationing ends. The survey was conducted by the Rio industrial federation (Firjan)'s Energy Council. The investments are to be in equipment or expansion of production.

The percentage is higher, 61%, among large industries where the survey found more optimism since the beginning of the year. (AB)
