Brazil beats Uruguay through to the finals

With two goals scored on 40 minutes of each half, Brazil has beat Uruguay 2-1 and made it to the Confederations Cup finals. Fred opened Brazil's lead. Uruguay leveled early in the second half, but Paulinho wrapped up Brazilian victory.

The winner is now waiting on its opponent to emerge from the Spain vs Italy game on Thursday (June 27). The final match takes place at the Maracanã stadium, Rio de Janeiro, on Sunday (June 30), at 7pm.
