Brasília, - Last night the Chamber of Deputies approved the Temporary Measure (Medida Provisorio) (MP) which establishes a new model for the electricity sector. The vote was complicated due to maneuvers by the opposition but in the end the government rejected attempts to block the vote and got approval of what is known as MP144. (AB)
