Brasília - An Italian business mission will arrive in São Paulo today with 250 businessmen representing 170 industries. The objective of the mission is to identify business and investment opportunities.

The Italian mission is led by the president of the Italian Industrial confederation (Confindustria), Luca Cordero de Montezemolo, and the visit is part of an agreement made, in October 2005 by the presidents of Italy and Brazil, with the objective of strengthening bilateral commercial ties and increasing the presence of Italian small businesses in Brazil.
