Brasília - Adman/businessman Marcos Valerio will testify for the third time at congressional hearings today. This time he will appear before the Vote Buying CPI (Comissão Parlamentar Mista de Inquérito (CPMI) da Compra de Votos). Valério has been accused by deputy Roberto Jefferson (PTB-RJ) of operating a payoff scheme in Congress which made monthly payments ("mensalão") to some members so they would vote with the government.

Valerio has already testified before the Chamber of Deputies Ethics Council, as well as the Post Office CPI.
