Brasília - Today an investigative commission installed by the Chamber of Deputies Legal Office (Corregedoria) will hear testimony by deputy Roberto Jefferson (PTB/RJ) who has made charges that some members of congress received a "monthly allowance" to vote with the government.

The commission will also be looking into the supposed involvement of Jefferson in malfeasance at the Post Office (Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos) (ECT) and the state-run Reinsurance Institute (Instituto Resseguros Brasil) (IRB).
