São Paulo - Brazilian vehicle exports will end the year with a record volume, surpassing the sector's goal, which was US$ 7.5 billion. This value should attain US$ 8 billion by year's end.
Through November, foreign sales were 50.1% superior to last year's figure for the same period. Shipments totaled 746,978 units, while earnings amounted to US$ 7.522 billion, Rogélio Goulfarb, president of the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers (Anfavea), informed today.
According to Goulfarb, the forecast is for growth to continue in 2005, albeit at a slower pace than this year. Next year's revenues are expected to be US$ 8.6 billion.
