President of Paraguay visits Brazil

Brasília - Yesterday president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva met with the president of Paraguai, Nicanor Duarte, for lunch and working meetings. The two discussed infrastructure investments and the construction of a second international bridge over the Paraná River that would connect the two cities of Foz de Iguaçu in Brazil and Presidente Franco in Paraguay. The presidents also discussed World Trade Organization negotiations and United Nations reform.

They also signed two agreements. One for the establishment of a professional training center in Paraguay with courses in informatics, electro-electronics and civil construction. A second for regionable sustainable development in both countries.
