Brasília - The Brazilian men's beach volleybeach team of Ricardo and Emanuel won a gold medal yesterday, with a victory of 21 to 16 and 21 to 15, over a Spanish team.

With that victory, Brazil now has two gold medals; the other was a boating competition, Laser class, won by Robert Scheidt.

At the moment, Brazil has, besides the two gold medals, one silver medal (in women's beach volleyball - Adriana Behar and Shelda) and two bronze medals in judo (Flavio Canto and Leandro Guilheiro).

In total Olympic medals, Brazil is now in 23rd place.
