Brasília - Minister of Foreign Relations, Celso Amorim, says he is satisfied with the preliminary report by the World Trade Organization dispute settlement panel on Brazil's complaint against European Union subsidies on its sugar exports.

In a note, Amorim said that the ruling was "an important step forward in the effort to eliminate distortions on the international market in farm produce."
