Curitiba - As part of preparations for the world's biggest organic food fair, which will take place this year simultaneously in Rio de Janeiro, Nuremburg, Tokyo and Washington in September, this week the city of Curitiba, capital of Paraná, southern region, is hosting BioFach América Latina – Paraná.

Producers and buyers of organic food from all over the world are participating. Representatives from Mercosur (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) and it associate members (Bolivia and Chile) are present.

The declared objective of organic food fairs is to increase production and give people a more healthy diet.
