São Tomé - Minister of Education, Tarso Genro, has donated 105 school kits to the government of São Tomé and Principe. The kits will be used by lay teachers. The donation was received by the secretary of Education of São Tomé, Álvaro Santiago. Genro and Santiago also signed a cooperation contract for the education and training of teachers. Genro reports that another agreement is being negotiated which will further expand Brazilian assistance in the education sector.
