Brasília - Starting today, the Federal Savings Bank is offering a line of credit to promote the exportation of goods and services, using resources from the Workers' Assistance Fund (FAT), as part of the Program for Generating Jobs and Income (Proger). Financing is available up to a limit of US$ 81 thousand (R$ 250 thousand), and the repayment period runs up to 12 months, with interest charged at the Long-Term Interest Rate (TJLP), plus 9.8% per annum.

The goal of the Bank's Proger-Export line is to contribute to the expansion of the country's export base, especially by providing support to micro and small firms.

The credit line is intended to finance activities directly linked to the export process, as well as participation in trade missions and international fairs, in Brazil or abroad, organized by entities connected with export promotion.

The credit line also makes it possible to send samples or prototypes and to prepare promotional materials.
