Recife, April 12, 2004 (Agência Brasil) - Rural workers linked to the Landless Workers Movement (MST) invaded two more farms today in the state of Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil. Another farm was invaded over the weekend.
With these invasions, which occurred peaceably, the number of farms taken over by the MST in Pernambuco in less than a month rises to 28. The members of the MST are determined to press for the effectuation of Agrarian Reform in Brazil.
