Brasília, 4/12/2004(Agência Brasil) - A Brazilian delegation, headed by the president of the National Supply Company (Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento) (Conab), Luís Carlos Guedes Pinto, consisting of members of the Landless Rural Worker Movement (MST), are beginning a 15- day visit to Canada to observe family farming there.

The group will visit Toronto and the provinces of Quebec, Ontário, Saskawatchan and Manitoba where dairy goods, grains and fruit are produced. They will also meet with government officials, farmer associations and commercial groups. (Translator: Allen Bennett)
