Brasília, 3/8/2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - As part of celebrations of International Women's Day, the Banco do Brasil will be holding a Financial Cultural Circuit event today that will take place in Brasilia and be broadcast to four states: Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará and Santa Catarina.
The one-day course will focus on the financial market investments, savings and how to ensure financial security for families.
Pointing out that there has been a sharp rise in households managed by women recently, Eliana Bussinger, a Banco do Brasil Capital Market analyst, says that one of the objectives of the course is to give women the tools to make the right decisions in dealing with money.
The course is sponsored by Banco do Brasil in cooperation with the World Bank, the Eduardo Magalhaes Foundation (of Bahia), the Centec Institute (of Ceará) and the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
