Trade balance compiles US$ 3.57 billion surplus so far this year

Brasília, March 1, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Brazilian trade balance registered a surplus of US$ 385 million in the fourth week of February (23-29), with only 3 business days, due to Carnaval. There were US$ 870 million in exports and US$ 485 million in imports. With this result, the surplus in February came to US$ 1.982 billion, and the surplus for the year stands at US$ 3.570 billion.
