Brasília - The Ministry of Social Security reports that beneficiaries who obtained court-ordered benefit corrections are now receiving them. Just in the state of São Paulo, more than 20 million retirees and pensioners will be getting more money this month. Depending on when the person began getting Social Security benefits, the correction can be as much as 39.67%.

The ministry explains that the payment is automatic and that there is no reason for beneficiaries to go to Social Security offices. (AB)
