Vice president recovering well from pneumonia

São Paulo - Vice president Jose Alencar, who went into hospital on February 21 for an emergency removal of his gall bladder, got pneumonia during his recovery and will remain out of action for ten to fiften days, says his surgeon, Raul Cutait.

A medical report says Alencar is doing very well, but will remain in hospital for a few more days. The pneumonia is completely under control, but it is something that takes time, says the report. (AB)
